July 29, 2013 Arrived at the MTC

Trevor made it to the Johannesburg MTC!  Here is a picture of Elder Truscott and his companion Elder Kabwe.  He missed his P-day on the Thursday he arrived so hopefully he will get time to give us an update this Thursday.

Here is an excerpt from the letter we received from the Mission home in Johannesburg:

"Each of the missionaries has a companion.  They come from different countries: USA, Uganda, Malawi, Zimbabwe, South Africa, England, Scotland, Canada, and Zambia. 
They will be serving in: Zimbabwe, Kenya, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Zambia, and Durban.
It is an extremely diverse group...working hard to come together."

Thank you family and friends for coming and supporting me at my farewell! It's official, the Visa showed up, and I'm headed to Johannesburg today!
